Meet the coach

Phil Ragonesi

 

Phil Ragonesi is a long standing boxing coach with more than 40 years experience in the boxing and boxing fitness industry. 

 

Phil incorporates boxing skills and techniques to enhance fitness with a focus on high intensity interval training. Using these principles, many high profile sporting players and teams have accessed Phil's classes for their fitness. He tailors his classes to incorporate a wide range of ages and fitness levels and strongly believes that the skills learnt from boxing can be applied to many other sports and activities.

Phil is also heavily involved in coaching at the Queensland Boxing Tournaments each year and many of his boxers, both men and women have won the Queensland Novice Title, Queensland Open Title and Australian Golden Glove.

​

When he is not coaching boxing, Phil enjoys spending time with his family, catching up with friends for a coffee, attending his grandsons sporting events and the occasional rum.
